From a Bogor Kitchen to a Table in Jakarta
One kitchen, one standard. How food cooked in Tanah Sereal reaches Jakarta office towers fresh — and why we chose not to split production.
A fair question from corporate clients in Jakarta: the kitchen is in Bogor, so will the food still be fresh on arrival?
It will, and not by accident.
One kitchen, not several
In 2019 we briefly ran a Kitchen Hub in Bintaro to reach Jakarta clients from closer by. All production is now centred back in our Bogor kitchen.
That was a deliberate decision. Separate kitchens mean separate standards — and what is hardest to hold at a distance is precisely what matters most: consistency of taste. Three generations of our family know that taste from the same kitchen.
A distance already accounted for
The journey from Tanah Sereal into Greater Jakarta is typically one to two hours. That is not a number we simply accept; packaging, departure scheduling and the form each dish takes are all built around it. Dishes that must be served hot are treated differently from those that need not be.
Standards you can check
The entire process runs in a kitchen certified Halal Indonesia, operating an HACCP food-safety system. For corporate events these are usually the first two things procurement asks about — and rightly so.
Live cooking on site
Some dishes are simply best cooked where they are eaten. For those we bring a live cooking station — egg station, grill, BBQ, steak — set up at your venue. Freshness is not the only reason; the room itself changes.
Where we serve
All of Greater Jakarta: Jakarta and its five municipalities, Bogor city and regency, Depok, Bekasi, Tangerang, and Bintaro, BSD, Alam Sutera and South Tangerang. All from the same kitchen.
