Reading a Catering Quote: What Sits Beyond the Menu Price

The price per portion is almost never the whole cost of catering. We have chosen to write the components out plainly, so that you — particularly if you are preparing an internal submission or a purchase order — can calculate from the start rather than be surprised at the end.

Minimum Service Charge

This is the service fee that scales with what the event requires, separate from the food. It follows the location:

• Bogor and surrounds: 15% of the total, or a minimum of Rp1,500,000 — whichever is greater.
• Greater Jakarta: up to 21% of the total, or a minimum of Rp2,500,000 — whichever is greater.

Tax

All prices carry the 10% restaurant tax (PB1). Box orders carry no additional charge beyond that, with a minimum of twenty-five boxes.

Service duration

Our standard service covers an event of four to six hours, counted from the moment our team arrives on site. If your event runs longer, tell us early so we can account for it together, rather than discussing it while the event is under way.

Delivery

Delivery applies across all areas, Bogor and Jakarta alike, scaled fairly to the distance and the size of the order. Events outside Greater Jakarta carry an additional transport allowance as required.

Cover charge and equipment

Where a venue outside our partner network applies a cover charge, we will pass on that venue's policy as stated. Loss or damage to equipment during an event is calculated against a published replacement schedule — figures we share in advance, not after the fact.

Why we write this down

Because a procurement team needs cost components, not a single lump sum. And because conversations that begin with complete information tend to end more calmly for both sides.

Menu prices themselves we share through a proposal, as they depend closely on guest count, service format, and the dishes you choose.
